Going Pink For The Tatas
Every year there is a sea of pink that floods the fall reds, oranges, yellows and browns. Companies roll out the pink products in support of breast cancer research. In case you have missed it, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Pink ribbons, pink sweepers, Save The Tatas bumper stickers and breast and pink related hashtags take over our daily lives.
However, breast cancer research extends beyond the month of October. So Dog On Designs & Photography is turning pink this month to raise money for a breast cancer awareness annual Mother’s Day walk. Each year, a close friend and her mother send out emails, talk with co-workers and seek out family members to help raise money for this annual Minneapolis, MN walk. Why are they so dedicated? My friend’s mother is a breast cancer survivor.
This year, I want to help them have a record breaking year. That is why my business is turning pink and offering Mini Portrait Sessions for the month of October. This is my way of giving to my friends and anyone who has lost someone to or survived breast cancer. Fifty percent of each Pink Mini Portrait session will be donated to the Mother’s Day walk that my friend and her mother attend.
Pink Mini Portrait Sessions
For $50, you (and a loved one if you so desire) will get a portrait session of up to one hour and a DVD of 5-10 of your favorite (high resolution) images. There is only one requirement to be met in order to receive this discount…you must wear something pink. You could wear a pink shirt, tie, dress, hat, scarf or even pink sneakers, but you must have at least one pink item.*
Let’s have some fun and Save The Tatas!
